Origin Africa is a special purpose vehicle (SPV) promoted by Origin Group with the sole objective of introducing sustainable food production programs using the greenhouse farming technology. We seek to achieve this objective through the establishment of “GREENHOUSE ESTATES” in selected pilot states (locations) across the country.

Project Overview
The greenhouse revolution is designed to enhance and stabilize food supply, create new enterprises “by encouraging youth participation in agriculture through modern technology” and increase local production of vegetable in high demand.
Though Nigerian market for certain vegetables is large and dominated by imports, yet finding suitable financing model for high-tech greenhouse technology has been difficult, and the nation denied the opportunity of enjoying unimaginable benefits the sector can bestow on the nation’s economy.
The program is specially modeled to empower youths to own hi-tech greenhouses for cultivation of premium vegetables for specialized markets like hotels, supermarkets and other markets.
